Beta testing phase. Teachers and schools wanted.

Revision packs, minus the evening.

Rewizz helps teachers turn existing curriculum files, lesson slides and worksheets into controlled revision packs that they can review, edit and export. It is built for the real mess of teaching folders, repeated slides, wrong-subject files and last-minute exam preparation.

Current focus: UAE-first beta with individual teachers, department leads and schools using Windows, macOS or Chromebook workflows.

Teacher chooses final content Local-first by default No broad Drive scanning Source traceability

Who it is for

Made for teachers with real folders, not perfect content libraries.

Rewizz is not a generic slide generator. The beta is focused on teachers who already have curriculum documents, lesson decks, worksheets, images and links, but need a safer way to turn those materials into revision packs without manually rebuilding everything.

Best fit during beta

Individual teachers, tutors, department leads and UAE schools that want to test the workflow using real curriculum and lesson folders.

End-of-term and year-end revision Select topics across terms and build packs from material already taught.
Department pack preparation Create consistent revision outputs while keeping each teacher in control of included content.
Chromebook and laptop workflows Designed for Windows, macOS and installable ChromeOS PWA testing, subject to hardware limits.
Confidential teaching material Built around local processing by default, narrow online exceptions and no vendor-side lesson-content storage.

Time saved for teachers

Less revision-pack prep. More time for teaching.

Rewizz is built to reduce the repeated admin work around revision packs: searching folders, removing duplicates, checking topic fit, formatting outputs and rebuilding answer keys. The teacher still reviews and approves the final pack.

Before Rewizz

Revision prep is mostly manual.

After Rewizz

The teacher reviews a prepared candidate pack.

Search old slides, PDFs, worksheets and links across different folders.
Select the curriculum and approved lesson folders once.
Open files one by one to find the right topic and avoid duplicates.
See candidate groups by topic, with duplicates and off-topic material held back.
Copy, paste, reformat and rebuild packs under deadline pressure.
Edit, approve and export instead of rebuilding the pack from scratch.
Check later whether the pack still matches what was actually taught.
Keep source traceability and final teacher control before students receive anything.
Search lessApproved folders become a subject workspace, so teachers are not repeatedly hunting for the same lesson material.
Review fasterTopic groups, duplicates and possible wrong-subject files are separated before the teacher starts editing.
Export cleanerPDF, PowerPoint, Word, HTML and answer-key exports are prepared from the reviewed pack instead of separate manual rebuilds.

External workload data remains useful context: OECD TALIS reports that lesson planning accounts for 14% of teachers' working time, and TALIS 2018 reported 6.5 hours per week on lesson planning and preparation. The beta will test Rewizz's own time-saving impact with real teacher folders. TALIS 2024 TALIS 2018

What the app does

Curriculum first. Folder second. Teacher approval always.

The product flow is deliberately controlled. Rewizz builds a subject workspace from the curriculum, checks lesson material against that workspace, proposes candidate revision content and keeps the teacher as the final decision-maker before export.

Start with curriculum

Import the subject curriculum so Rewizz can understand terms, topics, sub-topics and learning objectives before it reads lesson folders.

Reason: prevents generic pack generation outside the taught scope.
Scan approved folders

The teacher selects folders or files. Rewizz processes supported lesson formats, detects duplicates and separates likely wrong-subject material.

No silent disk crawling. No full Drive scan.
Build candidate groups

For selected topics, Rewizz proposes restrained slide groups with source traceability, rather than dumping every raw slide into a pack.

Teacher selects what enters the pack.
Edit and export

Teachers can edit text, reorder slides, add questions, attach links and export local formats such as PDF, PowerPoint, Word, HTML and answer keys.

Google Docs and Slides are explicit online exports only.

Beta testing

Help test Rewizz with real teaching material.

Rewizz is presently in beta testing phase and is seeking teachers, tutors, department leads and schools willing to test the workflow with genuine curriculum files and lesson folders.

Use your own curriculum and teaching material in a controlled test workspace.
Report where source matching, topic selection, export quality or privacy wording needs improvement.
Validate whether the pack is useful enough to use with students after teacher review.

About Rewizz

An offline-first revision-pack builder for busy teachers.

Rewizz is being built as a teacher productivity app for Windows, macOS and Chromebook PWA use. The design principle is simple: software can sort, index and prepare suggestions, but the teacher remains responsible for scope, selection, edits and final use.

Core product position

Rewizz turns existing curriculum and lesson material into teacher-reviewed revision packs. It supports local processing by default, source traceability and explicit export choices.

  • Designed for curriculum-aligned revision preparation.
  • Built to handle duplicates, recap slides and mixed folder quality.
  • Exports are intended to remain editable and portable.

Current beta boundaries

The beta is for validation and controlled testing, not a general availability release. Feature performance and platform coverage are being tested with teachers and schools.

  • No claim of full public release readiness.
  • No fake school logos, testimonials or adoption numbers.
  • No automated publishing without teacher review.

FAQ and data protection

Privacy and Data Protection is an integral part of our product.

How does Rewizz support UAE confidentiality and data-protection obligations?

Rewizz is designed around data minimisation, purpose limitation and local processing principles aligned with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law framework, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021. The beta does not present itself as a formal legal certification.

What teaching data does Rewizz handle?

When a teacher chooses files or folders, the app may process curriculum files, lesson slides, worksheets, extracted text, images, links, topic maps, embeddings, local preferences, pack drafts and export jobs inside the selected workspace.

What is not uploaded or retained by Rewizz by default?
  • Lesson content is not uploaded to vendor servers by default.
  • Student data, prompts, extracted lesson text and local memory are not retained in the vendor cloud by default.
  • Wrong-subject or unapproved material is not allowed into memory, embeddings or generation unless the teacher overrides it.
  • Payment card details are not stored by the app and should remain with the payment provider.
Does Rewizz require student accounts, marks or behavioural data?

No. V1 is scoped as a teacher productivity tool. It does not require student logins, student analytics, automated grading, behaviour tracking, parent portals or LMS-style student records.

Can school administrators see teacher lesson folders?

No. In the intended school licence model, administrators manage seats, licence status and account access. They do not receive access to teacher files, local workspaces, local memory or draft packs.

Does Rewizz scan Google Drive?

No broad Drive scan is planned for V1. Google access is limited to teacher-initiated Google Docs or Google Slides export using narrow permissions. Google export requires internet sign-in and should be optional.

How are local files protected?

The app is designed to read only user-approved files or folders. Sensitive tokens and selected metadata should use local secret storage or encryption, depending on platform. Source files remain unchanged unless the teacher deliberately exports or saves a new output.

Can a teacher delete local Rewizz data?

The product design requires workspace and memory deletion controls. Deleting a Rewizz workspace should remove derived indexes, topic maps and local memory for that workspace without deleting the teacher's original lesson files.

What should beta testers avoid uploading or sharing?

Beta testers should avoid sharing unnecessary student personal data, confidential school records or third-party licensed content outside their permitted use. Rewizz should be tested with permissioned teaching material and with school approval where applicable.

Where can I read more about the legal framework?

For public reference, see the UAE Government portal on data protection laws.
